IPEG MEC President Elect Amin Ksia for becoming the President of the Arab Association of Pediatric Surgeons and the Tunisian Society of Pediatric Surgeons
The event was held in Marrakesh, and had over 250 registrations conjoined with Maghrebian Pediatric Surgery Congress and National Pediatric Surgery Congress of Morocco.
Prof Rafik Shalaby was passionate about Pediatric MIS and has been a very active member in the community and events.
Sadnesss engulfed us all the moment we learned of Hesham AlSaket passing, few days ago.
Prof Hesham El Saket, Vice Dean for the Cairo University School of Medicine and Director of the Learning Resources Center has passed away on May 1st, 2020 from complications of COVID-19. He was a prominent IPEG figure in the Middle East and my dear friend. I take solace in the fact that Hesham is in a better place. Till we meet him again, may he continue to rest with the Lord. Hesham soul has found rest. The Lord has taken away Hesham’s suffering. We just hope He gives us the strength to deal with this sorrow. We pray time will heal and lighten the pain we feel.
